Pão de queijo or Brazilian cheese bread is a small, baked cheese roll or cheese bun, a popular snack and breakfast food in Brazil. Easy to make and best served warm our of the oven. A gluten-free crowd pleaser!

 
 

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg

  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil

  • 2/3 cup Milk of your choice

  • 1 1/2 cups Tapioca Flour

  • ¾ cup shredded Manchego or Alpine style sheeps milk cheese

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 
 Pinch of chili flakes

Direction

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and grease a 12-cup muffin tin.

  • Blend ingredients together in a standing mixer, stopping to scrape down the sides with a spatula.

  • Pour batter into greased muffin tins.

  • Bake for 20 minutes until tops are browned.
