Cranberry Turmeric Tonic

I started making various tonics when I was recovering from foot surgery as a way to stay nourished and I use these as a base for adding collagen.

 
 

Ingredients

  • 2 3-inch pieces of fresh turmeric, scrubbed and chopped

  • 2 3-inch pieces of fresh ginger, scrubbed and chopped

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen organic cranberries

  • 2 cups filtered clean water

  • 2 teaspoons date syrup

  • Mineral water

Directions

  1. Add turmeric, ginger, cranberries, water, and date syrup to a blender. Blender until completely smooth.

  2. Strain into a glass jar.

  3. When ready to enjoy add ¼ concentrate to a glass and top with 1-2 cups of cold sparkling mineral water.
