Cranberry Turmeric Tonic
I started making various tonics when I was recovering from foot surgery as a way to stay nourished and I use these as a base for adding collagen.
Ingredients
2 3-inch pieces of fresh turmeric, scrubbed and chopped
2 3-inch pieces of fresh ginger, scrubbed and chopped
1 cup fresh or frozen organic cranberries
2 cups filtered clean water
2 teaspoons date syrup
Mineral water
Directions
Add turmeric, ginger, cranberries, water, and date syrup to a blender. Blender until completely smooth.
Strain into a glass jar.
When ready to enjoy add ¼ concentrate to a glass and top with 1-2 cups of cold sparkling mineral water.
